Boracaynon Team!
The team are all in the same faith, literally under one church.. all members of the Church of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo). The coach himself was once a paddler from one of the pioneering team of paddlers in the island. ​
Once day some of the brethren approached him if he could coach them in the said sports. Though "Ka Dodoy" as how he is called by the brethren knew that this sports is not hat easy and not a play for robust strength and perseverance is needed. He knew the capacity of the other team in the island so well. But, he never look at these thin and young people physically. but he was inspired of their desire and faith to learn the rhythm of paddling.
Weeks, months and even years had passed. No halt, no surrender. More pain and more pain, until one day, a great force emerged.
Indeed faith can move mountains. Now Boracay Sea Dragons is one of the most powerful force dragon boat competition. Not because they are all professionals, but because they were just dreamers who never sleeps but is always awake and never quits.
